Brenda & Michael on vacation in Mexico

Michael & I were so thankful that we left Noah at home while we were in Mexico. Everywhere we went, we saw couples with toddlers, and they were in utter hell. It's been a long time since we got to just spend time as a couple, and it was so wonderful to reconnect. We kayaked together, and were able to relax a little. Doug & Michael took a class on how to navigate a catamaran, while Susie & I spent that time building a sandcastle on the beach. Then the boys took Susie & I out on the high seas. Michael said, "We're certified sailors now." And they did great! We sailed out in the ocean and felt not a care in the world.
