Baby Jackson Joseph McBride is here. He joined our family today, November 2, 2010, at 11:42 AM. I told the nurses when we arrived that once I started making progress, I'd make progress fast so they needed to be ready! Sure enough, I was right! (I'll give a detailed birth story later.)We had a dream delivery. My lipstick didn't even come off! Just a few pushes and our family was forever changed. The nurses all joked that I didn't look like I just had a baby. Everything went smoothly. Jackson weighed in at 6 lbs 1 oz, 20 inches long. He is perfectly healthy, perfectly lovely, and our family is complete.
