Jackson's 4th birthday party was all about trains, planes, and trucks...as Jackson likes all things that GO! He wanted a birthday cake with fondant...because this kid LOVES to eat fondant. Since he doesn't like chocolate (Seriously...is he really my child?!) a cake with fondant he shall have. And for Mommy points---having a party the day after Halloween...and a few weeks after having a baby...is nearly impossible. But I did it. Jackson bounced and played and that's what's important. He is one of the sweetest little boys in the world. Happy 4th, my love! Mommy loves you dearly!

Happy 66th Birthday Grampa!
Happy 66th birthday, Grampa! We met Susie and her kids out at Grampa's house to celebrate his birthday. He just wanted a small get-together at his place, so that's what we did. Noah ended up getting sick on the way, so poor baby was wrapped up in Daddy or Mommy's lap for most of the party. But he did NOT want to miss Grampa's party! We bought Grampa some new shoes, and they actually fit! We sang Happy Birthday and watched him blow out the candles like a pro! Love, love, LOVE this man; probably the single most influential person in my life. I love you, DAD!!!
Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Mommy- 38
Happy 38th birthday Mommy! The funniest part of my birthday was when Noah was talking with me about what a "big, big time," we were going to have for my happy birthday. He said (in his oh-so-Noah voice of enthusiasm) "We're going to have a birthday cake, and prizes, and decorations, and a party...and the workers will come." I was following everything until the "and the workers will come" line. I asked what he meant about the workers coming. He said, "For your bounce house and slide, Mommy. It's your birthday. The workers have to come to put up your bounce house and slide for your party!" Oh Noah...I love how your mind works! I love that you have had such a grande childhood...that we've been able to afford a bounce house and slide for your parties. I love that you know that we have traditions in our family...like singing, "God's blessings to you." I am so thankful to celebrate another year. Life is good. God is good. And cake from Village Bakery...Oh, so good!

Getting Super Ready for Noah's 4th Super Party
I decided to recycle the pumpkin patch sign I made for Jackson's 1st birthday to make a Super Noah sign for Noah's upcoming 4th birthday party. Noah helped & thought that was pretty cool! I also made a 4 sign using pictures of Noah dressed up in his super cape! Pretty cute & cheap! Gotta love that! Go Super Mommy!
