Field day 2016

     This year Grammie came for field day which was an extra treat! It was hot, but the boys had fun!

Daddy was his coach and did an AWESOME job of not only teaching the boys, but encouraging them and modeling the best of being a coach. Love my Mean Green boys!

Happy 7th birthday Noah

Happy 7th birthday, Noah! We started off the day with busting through your door full of balloons and streamers. Then Mommy & Grampa surprised you at school with cupcakes for lunch. We brought Jackson in to join the party with your class. Then Paw Paw, Sarah, & Granny Meg joined us for pizzas for your 7th birthday! Happy birthday! Mommy loves you SO very much! You have an enthusiasm and joy for life that is infectious. I love you dearly!

Noah pre-party pics

Where do I begin with this almost 7 year old boy?!? Noah wants a SURPRISE Gator birthday party...not at our house this year...for his 7th birthday party. Sure, no problem. That's not an easy order to pull up under the best circumstances, nevermind with a new baby. But this red-headed darling has my heart and of course that's what we're going to do! I didn't have pictures for an invitation made, but he's photogenic enough...I think we pulled it off! Not bad for 15 minutes in the back of our backyard, right?  It's easy to take a great picture when this is your test subject.  Mr. Photogenic.  Look at him. How can he be almost 7? I know people SAY that...but I REALLY mean it! HOW?!?  Mommy loves you, Noah Michael.

Noah is thankful for...

Noah brought this home from school at Thanksgiving break. "I am thankful for our home and our family." 

Me, too, Noah. And if one day years from now you read this...know that I'm thankful for you each & every day.

Note from Noah--No Matter What

Noah has a bedtime story titled, "No Matter What." Basically, the Mommy tells her son that she'll love him no matter what. So tonight, Noah gives me this note. I love YOU no matter what, Noah Michael!!

Sweet Noah

Sweet Noah surprised me with flowers today. He has a heart of gold. Thank you, sweet Noah!!! This means so much to Mommy!

I sent Noah's 1st grade teacher pictures of Noah's baby newborn sister today, as she was born whole he was at school. His teacher sent me these pictures of him proudly showing his friends his new baby sister, Annemarie Grace. Priceless! Look at his face!

Noah has had quite the transition from t-ball to coach pitch baseball! Mommy does not like how competitive some of the coaches are, and it has been an adjustment and transition for Mommy, as well! Michael and Paw Paw have been to every game and have taken extra time helping Noah with his batting and fielding.  And Sarah has helped me a ton by watching Jackson at the games so that I can watch Noah play.  It takes a village, and I've got a great one!
