Easter Cards 2012

I loved how our Easter pictures with Rose Bailey turned out so much that I made some cute Easter cards with the pictures.  (Luckily Walgreens and CVS can get them done in an hour). Although I only mailed about 10, they sure turned out cute. Happy Easter 2012 from our family, Noah (4) & Jackson (17 Months)

Easter Egg 2012 at St. John

It's always a fun tradition to hunt for Easter eggs at Grampa's church! It was so cute to see Jackson join the fun this year! I LOVE that my sisters & I value tradition and make sure that we're all together with Dad on Easter Sunday.  It's so special to me. Songs at Easter are always extra emotional, because so many of the songs we sing at Easter are songs we sung at my mother's funeral. But she would've loved that---Easter songs are the happiest!!

Noah & Jackson had a fun time opening up their Easter baskets to find lots of treats from the Easter bunny.  Daddy got a special present in his basket, too! A book filled with Noah & Jackson's Easter pictures.  After our basket frenzy, we headed off to church for Easter service & an Easter egg hunt!

Easter Party at Oak Tree Academy

Noah had TWO Easter parties this week at his preschool.  It took a lot of rearranging, but I was able to be at both parties.   Noah and his friends hunted Easter eggs and enjoyed a yummy Easter feast, complete with some pretty fabulous petit-fours I brought the kids from our friends at Village Bakery.  It was so much fun to watch Noah with his friends!

Special Moments I don't want to forget

Quite possibly my favorite time of day is in those first moments when the boys wake up.  Before the hustle and bustle of the day begins...we all gather in Mama & Daddy's bed and cuddle and give hugs first thing in the morning.  It's just such a sweet and special time.  Noah likes to give Jackson his milk, even though Jackson can hold it himself.  I know as the boys get older, these snuggle sessions will be fewer and father in-between.  That's why I try to treasure these moments today. Time together like this is priceless.  This morning, I was able to grab my camera and snap a quick picture.  Love this. Love these boys. My boys won't remember this...but by reading this, one day they will learn just what a special family we do have. And how MUCH their Mama loves them.

Decorating Easter Eggs Kool-Aid Style

A busy day of Sunday Easter activities concluded with our Easter-egg decorating Kool-Aid Style.  It was an absolutely beautiful day outside, so we took advantage and decorated eggs outside...complete with bunny ears!  Hippity Hoppity, Easter's on its way!

ETMC Easter Celebration

Today we celebrated Easter ETMC-style with an Easter Egg hunt, games, and a memorable visit with the Easter Bunny.  Poor Jackson---He was absolutely content until Daddy put him on the Easter bunny's lap.  There's no creating fake happy memories here! Sorry sweet baby!
