Jackson's beautiful smile:)

Here is my sweet Jackson---4 months old now and a chunk! He has the sweetest tempermant, and he is a big smiler. Nothing is sweeter than his laugh. Right now, he really laughs hard when I say, "Hi," or when I say, "Mama." It's the simple things in life that matter most, like watching your baby smile or hearing his giggles.

Book sale benefitting Relay For Life

Today my cancer support group held a book sale at American Cancer Society to benefit Relay for Life. We made $300 which is good for just selling used books! Noah & Jackson enjoyed being outside for a bit and visiting with all our friends. I really enjoyed watching Noah & Linda Whittington interact. What a special group of people.

Veronica & Jackson

Yesterday, Veronica came to help me with the boys a bit. She is such an amazing young lady. I can hardly believe she will be driving next November! Love her.

Jackson's 1st Rice Cereal

Tonight, Jackson experienced rice cereal for the first time. He just ate a little, but I thought he did a great job. He didn't look like he enjoyed it that much, but I can only imagine how weird it must be to only drink breast milk, and then have some rice cereal goop fed to you! Noah got in on the fun and even fed him. I was surprised that he was very gentle. "We'll feed Baby Jackson the baby food," Noah said. Although Jackson only had a few bites for his first rice cereal, I thought that was a great start! My little boy is getting so big!

Noah's 1st...and hopefully last...Stitches

Well, today was the first time Noah got stitches---yikes! He was SUPPOSED to be taking a nap. I literally was at his room door 2 minutes before I heard the screams. I walked in the door to find Noah screaming with blood running down his face. He started jumping on the bed and fell off and cut the inner part of his lip...so hard that even a chunk out of the bed! Noah needed stitches!  The doctors sent me outside to give Noah stitches. My poor baby...they had to wrap him in a sheet and hold him down to do the stitches. Soon after, though, he was fine...we went for his favorite food, "chips & cheese," and we had ice cream at home. Sweet boy. Traumatic for Mama! But he handled himself great!
