Christmas 2012 Family Pix

Here are a few of our family pictures taken by Rose Bailey for Christmas 2012.  Michael was less-than-thrilled when I told him that we were going to bring the daybed down from upstairs and set it up at our little lake for our photo shoot.  He (and most men, for that matter) have NO IDEA and do not fully APPRECIATE all the WORK that it takes to try to get a family picture...especially when you've got 2 wild boys.  Needless to say, it didn't go exactly as I had planned. They never do! But we got a few pictures anyway.  I love the "family" feel of the pictures.  Not in a studio...but in our own bed in our own backyard.  Upside down. Like I said..."US!"

Priceless Christmas Pix of my boys 2012

Here are a couple of priceless pictures of my boys from our Christmas session with Rose Bailey of Rose Bailey Photography.  Because it was a balmy 72 degrees in Texas the day of these pictures...I quickly dusted the trees behind Noah with some fake snow...and then gave Noah some very realistic looking snow that I bought at Hobby Lobby and told him to make a wish and blow the snow. Priceless pic!  And no smile required!
My husband will NEVER know all the mental and physical energy that it takes to put together a photo shoot for our family...and I must say...it's always a whipping...but when I look at pictures like these...it's totally worth it. VISION accomplished!
