Annemarie's 1st Fourth of July 2015

That squinched up nose---the same face I used to make at my dad when I was a baby! It's uncanny!

Annemarie Grace- 4th of July 2015
9 months old!

My photographer was sick almost this whole month, so I didn't have an opportunity to take nice 4th of July pictures for Annemarie. I did my best shot at home, and these are a few of my All-American girl! She can sport the red, white, & blue!!

4th of July Photo Booth with Grampa!

Grampa & Oma came to our house for 4th of July 2015, & Grampa didn't mind getting silly in our red, white, & blue photo booth! We kept joking because Noah's glasses with the white beard looked just like Grampa!!! What a great sport! HOW WE LOVE GRAMPA!!! He's the best!

Fourth of July 2014

Fourth of July 2014-
Paw Paw and Sarah and the Carliles joined us for an impromptu 4th of July celebration at our house.  We had SO much fun! The boys had fun decorating for the 4th and we stayed up late and did fireworks.  The boys got the biggest kick out of swimming in the pool at dark.  Happy 4th!

Just a swinging

Part of our big 4th of July bash involved swinging on our swingset in our backyard.  When I look at the joy on the faces of these boys...I'm quickly reminded that I don't need any fancy fireworks or extravagant ribbons of red, white, and blue. I don't need lavish parties or pretentious social engagements.  All I need are these smiles, and the blessing of another day with my loves! THESE are my fireworks!

Noah's 4th of July Swim Fun

Noah has become quite the little swimmer fish! He has some pretty good jumping in the pool moves, too! But he's most proud of his ability to make bubbles! He kept saying over and over, "Mommy, take a picture of me making bubbles!"
Happy 4th!

Fourth of July 2013

We spent 4th of July at home with the family this year. Noah got sent home from school the day before with a 102 fever so we kept it low key. Daddy grilled meat, we played on the swings, Noah swam (the water was freezing which is so weird for July!) and we had a mini-fireworks "show" which was pretty hilarious to watch!
4th with my family of 4---All I ever needed.
