Brothers Christmas Pictures 2014

We usually take our Christmas pictures outside, but this year we had an unexpected cold front come through, and it was WAY too cold outside to take pictures...so at the last minute, we decided to take pictures inside at our house.  I tried to set up a cozy Christmas setting and thought that if nothing else...I could have the boys jump on the bed and surely they'd smile for that. Rose Bailey (http://rosebaileyphotosprinting.com) was an absolute saint to put up with my boys...as they were particularly challenging!! But the idea of jumping on the bed was perfect.  We threw in some red feathers and pom pom balls, and they had a ball.
Christmas Pictures 2014- DONE.  There's a special kind of relief that comes from having the dreaded Christmas pictures complete!

Brothers kissing booth

How cute are these brothers? I made an impromptu kissing booth for the boys' Valentine's pictures this year.  For a last minute craft, I think it it turned out pretty cute! LOOK AT MY BOYS!! PRICELESS!!! HEART!

Santa pictures 2012

Jackson & Noah~ Brothers pictures with Santa 2012
We made our best effort to get pictures of the boys with Santa this year. 
Key words: BEST EFFORT
It was actually a treat: Grammie stayed an extra night and was able to go with us to visit Santa, so we had an extra pair of hands.  Noah & Jackson did well while we waited for Santa. Jackson even waved to Santa from behind the line prior to us visiting Santa.  But when it was his turn to sit on Santa's lap...THAT WAS ANOTHER STORY!!
Poor Jackson started screaming his head off, began reaching for Michael, and...well, nothing would calm him down until he was safely in Daddy's arms.  Bless you, my little Jackson! We love you!

This Santa had his hands full! Jackson was trying to escape off Santa's lap, and I don't even know what Noah was dong! I think he was trying to climb ON!

I picked the boys up just a little early from school today and was so touched to see my darlings walking down the hall together.  Just look at these sweeties.  Love, love.

Brothers chillin

It's a rare moment that our house is quiet. Cheez-It crackers did just the trick & I had to laugh at this picture of my boys chillin' on the couch. It may seem ordinary, but when we look back, sometimes it's the ordinary moments like this that will make us look back with a happy heart.

Ice cream brothers

Jackson is a funny fella. His favorite food is ice. A good biscuit comes in a close second. When we go to Sonic, I get Noah ice cream & Jackson ice. He hasn't been interested in ice cream...until yesterday when Noah brought home an ice cream. Noah was so sweet to share his ice cream with his little brother. Shoulder Rides

Noah & Jackson both love it when Noah gives Jackson shoulder rides.  Of course, Daddy or Mommy have to spot, but they are hilarious to watch! My boys are best of friends:)

Sliding Brothers

Noah is such a great big brother.  Today he put Jackson on his lap and took Jackson down the slide on his lap. Jackson's face just lit up! He loves his brother, Noah.  Then Jackson went down the slide by himself as his brother cheered and clapped for him.  LOVE that my boys are so close, already. Love that. Brothers share a special bond.  I hope that they always remain close.

These are my precious boys...Noah (4) & Jackson (16 months when taken; 17 months at Easter 2012). They are the best of friends, total opposites...and each perfection.  God sure knew what he was doing!
