Discovery Science fun

We spent our Friday afternoon with the dinosaurs & science stuff at Discovery Science Place. We bought a family membership so I anticipate many more trips soon! It's a good place to learn, have sensory experiences, stay cool, & have fun!

Small stuff we forget

It's the small stuff we as parents forget. That's why I snapped this pic of my boys doing part of their current morning routine...watching Dora the Explorer together in the rocker before we get ready for school. Love them.

Jackson's 1st swim of 2013

Happiness personified

Jackson's first swim of 2013 went well, too! Jackson doesn't like to get his hair wet, so I didn't know how it would go. But as you can see, he did JUST FINE! He giggled and had so muchf fun jumping into Daddy's arms.  Now...if ONLY I can get him to wear his floatie! I have a feeling that will be an ongoing battle! It's going to be a fun summer!

Noah's 1st Swim of 2013

This last weekend was Noah's 1st swim of the season.  Let me predict already...It is going to be a WILD summer! Noah had SO much fun swimming...jumping, splashing, belly-flopping....and it is only May!
Good times:)

Train Days in Jefferson, Texas

Last weekend we went to Train Days in Jefferson, Texas.  Back years ago...before kids...Michael & I would go stay at a B&B in Jefferson, go antique shopping, and eat out at Auntie Skinners...yummy Southern junction food.  Oh how times have changed! At our visit to Jefferson this past weekend, we did all things trains.  Trains are the thing at our house---all the time! We took the Jefferson train on a hot ride...walked inside an old boxcar train, and saw some toy trains.  The boys had a blast, but Michael & I were wore out! These times will pass all too quickly and there will be more time for bed & breakfasts soon enough!

How Jax eats his yogurt

Jax is a picky, picky eater. Family trait, I suppose! So, I didn't scold him when last night he ate his yogurt...with his fingers! He'd dip his hands in & eat the yogurt off his hands! Messy, but good sensory fun & fun to watch:)
