Mother's Day present from Noah

I love homemade gifts from my sons...especially when their handprints or footprints are involved. I was SO happy today when Noah brought me this hand-made flower & flowerpot made from his 10 beautiful fingers!!! My how time flies.

Michael & Brenda Photo Booth Fun

I only had about 24 hours to plan Michael's 40th birthday party.  Nothing like a little last-minute party planning, right? I rarely do a birthday party these days without some fun photo booth props, and his 40th was not going to be the exception! Happy 40th!

Elizabeth had ANOTHER surgery 5 days before these pictures were taken, and she still somehow managed to come to Michael's 40th Birthday party & look oober-fabulous! She had a ready-made box of longhorn decorations for me so my party wasn't completely lame....once again, saved the day! She & I were the first ones to jump in for the photo booth pictures.  Because WE ARE FUN!!!

Grammie cuts Noah & Jackson's Hair

It's always a treat when Grammie comes...because Noah & Jackson get their hair cut by Grammie when she visits! Noah had LOTS of hair that was cut, and they both were champs! Thanks Grammie for always being a trooper!

Michael 40th Birthday Decorations

 Michael gave me all of 24 ish hours to put together his 40th birthday party, so I had to get it together FAST! It was a lot of work but turned out pretty...ORANGE! Which is good, for a Longhorn party. 

Michael's 40th Birthday Party

Michael deicded at the last minute that he wanted a small 40th birthday party at home just with family and a few close friends.  Doesn't he know I don't know how to do small?!?   Well I tried, and it was a hit.  An almost-instant Bevo party to celebrate his 40th. Happy 40th to my most incredible husband of 14 years.  You still got it, babe!

On a funny note...a month earlier, on my birthday...when Noah & I were talking about how we'd celebrate for my birthday, Noah said, "Oh, Mommy! It'll be a big, big time! We'll have cake and balloons and prizes...and the workers will come."  I asked him what he meant when he said, "The workers will come."  He replied, "To put up your bounce house, Mommy!"  SO, don't you know...that for Daddy's 40th, I made sure the workers came and put up a bounce house and a slide.

Daddy turns 40 today! Paw Paw came by for some bar-b-que and swimming to celebrate Daddy's 40th birthday! We went down the slide and had another small little party at home to celebrate Daddy's big 4-0!
