Noah's 1st trip to the salon

Up until now, the only person that has cut Noah's hair has been Grammie. But we haven't seen Grammie in a long time, and Noah's hair was just getting unmanageable! So I made an appointment for him at the "salon." Noah has a video that has a "salon" in it, so he knew what I was talking about. After his Valentine's Day party, I took him for his 1st haircut with Mr. Steve at the Rage Salon. Noah's 1st professional haircut was at BScene's best salon for 2010. I couldn't take those precious curls to pro cuts! I know Mr. Steve well, and I knew he wouldn't butcher his hair. I'm protective of those curls! Mr. Steve was great, and he was so patient with Noah...who wouldn't let him wash his hair or put a cape on! But it all worked out. Noah just sat in my lap and got a lot of hair all over himself. But we brushed it off. Then we walked through the salon and saw the new water fountains, which Noah thought was just grand. When we left, Noah said, "I want more salon. I want more Mr. Steve." I told him we'd come back another day!

Noah's 1st Valentine's Day Party

Today was a big day for Noah! He had his 1st Valentine's Day party at Oak Tree Academy. The kids were all so cute...especially my Noah, of course! (Not that I'm biased!) The kids made ice cream sundaes and I brought Yummy Yums cupcakes for the finale. Noah had so much fun. So did I. Happy early Valentine's Day!

Jackson...barely 3 months

Here is sweet Jackson at 3 months & 2 days...taken on Noah's 3rd birthday, 2/4/11. He is such a happy and sweet baby! I just love seeing him smile!

Noah's birthday presents

Noah had some great birthday presents for his 3rd birthday----the biggest being a great fort that Daddy put together for him! His fort has 3 swings, a slide, a picnic table, and even a rock climbing wall! Noah is going to LOVE playing on it! Michael literally stood out in the rain last weekend putting it together. Daddy sure loves his Noah. And Mommy made Noah an ABC book with pictures of all our friends and family. "D is for....Daddy, Dock, Dog," etc. Noah loves his picture books, so this was a special gift from Mommy to her favorite 3 year old!
Happy 3rd Birthday, sweet Noah! Mommy, Daddy, & Baby Jackson love you!

Noah eating his 3rd birthday cake

Noah absolutely LOVES cake! And he absolutely LOVES Thomas! So you can only imagine how thrilled he was to have a Thomas birthday cake for his 3rd birthday! For some reason, when icing is involved, Noah doesn't believe in using a fork unless he is forced (which on his birthday, I wasn't going to do!) So, he literally put his mouth directly in the icing! No need to actually eat the cake part...just lick the icing! I wonder where he gets that from! HMMMMMMM!

More Snow Pics

Since it was so cold, the snow didn't melt, so Noah had another day to play in the snow! Michael pulled Noah around in a giant turtle float that we use in the pool, and Noah had a blast! It's funny that Noah thinks snow is normal, because we've had so much of it lately! Crazy Texas weather!
