Special Moments with Grampa

 Noah & Jackson have the most incredible Grampa.  Just incredible.  He gives love so freely and he is just great with the boys.  I don't think there's many things that bring my heart so much joy as watching my father with my sons.  Love you, Dad. You are my hero.

Happy 7th Birthday Matthew

 Happy 7th Birthay Matthew! Noah, Jackson, & I traveled to Athens to celebrate Matthew's 7th birthday party! Matthew is a little outdoorsman, and loves all things nature. He wanted a "fishing" party for his birthday, so the kids met out on the lake and did a little fishing.  No actual fish were caught, but the kids had fun, anyway. Grampa was such a big helpt to me, as Daddy was in Austin watching Bevo. It's hard to believe my nephew is already 7! I was there the day he was born, and I really don't know where the time goes! Happy birthday Matthew! We love you!

Grampa & Oma Visit

 Grampa & Oma came to our house for a visit today! Grampa brought us the most delicious apples from Michigan and the boys had such a wonderful time playing with Grampa. Jackson is going through the normal separation anxiety phase, so he often is reluctant to let other people hold him...but that was clearly not the case with Grampa! Check out these smiles!

Happy 1st Birthday, Jackson Joseph McBride!!

My darling Jackson turned one year old today. How is this possible?  It seems like just yesterday that I had the easiest labor in history and was then blessed with this angel sent straight from heaven.  Jackson, you have a sweetness about you that is unmatched.  You are sensitive, gentle, a thinker, a snuggler, a bundle of goodness destined for great things.  Your tempermant reminds me so much of my mother, another great soul.  You are delicious.  I love every inch of you, and have from the moment I knew you were going to be joining our family.  You are a Mama's boy, which I must say, I do love.  Seeing your face makes my heart happy.  Holding you close brings me pure contentment.  I wish you a happy 1st birthday today! I want you to know that I love you dearly.  I am so very in love you, my precious, youngest son. Happy 1st Birthday Darling!

 After birthday cupcake fun, Jackson had the most fun pulling the green blanket off of Noah.  Brotherly hide-n-seek=FUN!

Jackson took 3 steps today!

Jackson took 3 steps today! My baby boy is getting so big and will be walking any day now! After his steps, he was done walking by himself, so Jackson grabbed my hands and we walked hand-in-hand all through the living room and kitchen. He was giggling the whole time, and Noah exclaimed, "Wow! Look at that baby GO!" Cutest thing ever! I just love his sweet little personality, and his gentle smile. I cannot believe almost a year has passed since my precious baby boy joined our family. I never could have predicted the events of this past year...and I never could have predicted how BLESSED I would feel to be the mother of these two precious boys.
