In the last 36 hours we have had a ton of rain---between 10-12 inches! Roads were closed and lots of places flooded. I'm glad that my husband built our house & built it UP! The lake behind our house got near the flooding over point, but our developer has a levy that he opened to let the water out so the lake didn't overflow!

We have a big drain pipe that goes flows into the lake below. The lake got so high that the lake water was baking up into our drain & caused this flooding. Thank goodness for sandy soil that will soak it up quickly!
