Noah's 2 year check-up
We were quite late getting Noah's 2 year check-up. Dr. Austin wasn't concerned at all. Rather, he was just astounded at how big Noah has gotten since his last visit! When Noah got measured for height by the nurse, the nurse couldn't believe that her measuring tape wasn't long enough! Noah measured 38 1/2 inches in length, which is the 88th percentile for height, and weighed 39.2 lbs, which is the 98th percentile for weight. Dr. Austin said, "He's not at all fat. He's just gonna be a big guy. Let me look. He's averaging about as big as.....well as big as most 4 year olds!" We laughed. Noah really liked Dr. Austin and even said, "Dr. Austin," so cute. We got a fabulous report. Dr. Austin said Noah was "developmentally advanced in, well, everything." He was really surprised that Noah was already potty trained and so verbal already. Noah is saying up to 4 word sentences. We had to get shots, but I bought Noah a new train, and pulled it out when he started crying, so he stopped pretty quickly, and said, "Open Stanley." Good job buddy.
