Happy 66th Birthday Grammie!

Grammie liked how the bulldozer got in this picture. No, that wasn't part of the decorations, but living with these boys, trucks make it everywhere!

The boys helped decorate and get Grammie's party ready after a morning of swimming. We had cake, cupcakes, and even petit fours from Chez Bazaan which was beyond awesome! After Daddy lit Grammie's candles, she blew them out like a pro. Then Jax wanted to re-light the candles and blow them out. So we did. Then Noah wanted to light the candles and blow them out. So we did...several times! Silly boys, sure know how to appreciate the little things! Happy birthday Grammie!

Grammie's 66th Birthday Cake

Grammie spent her 66th birthday at our house, so we had to celebrate!

She wanted a red velvet cake, so that's what she got! I must say, I've rarely

tried...and never really liked red velvet...until Grammie's cake! We decorated the cake with 66 candles and also candles that looked like shoes and purses...perfect for Grammie!

Noah & Jax had a special treat today---Grammie chose to be with her boys for her 66th birthday! Bless her heart---these boys kept her busy!!! Grammie swam in the pool with Noah for HOURS! What a sport! Noah had the time of his life, of course!

Sleeping boys

Some days...most days...we have early morning risers. Jackson is particularly fond of 5 am wake-ups...even on weekends. This picture cracked me up. Michael & Noah were asleep in our bed & Jax insisted on going into the bed with them and "sleeping." Clearly, all were up shortly thereafter. Jax can hardly contain himself. Funny little boy! But there it is...my whole world.

Noah eating his spaghetti

Love my Noah...and his zest and enthusiasm for so many things...including his carbs! I'm pretty sure he gets that from his Mama! I laughed my head off watching him slurp up his spaghetti dinner...with 2 utensils! (Because shoveling requires both utensils!) No, this wasn't any fancy spaghetti or sauce...other than it is that Pasta Barilla that has as much protein in it as chicken...which I did since eating meat usually grosses me out. Clearly, Noah enjoyed his meal! (I think he eats like me, too!) Michael has always been a slow, neat eater. Not Mama. Mama loves her carbs and slurps them up...probably quicker than in her best interests! Dive in, Noah!
