Christine & Audrey meet Baby Jackson

Christine & Audrey were so sweet to bring us dinner & come by and visit Baby Jackson for the 1st time. Audrey was so cute. It was her 1st time to hold a baby as tiny as Jackson. Christine brought both the boys gifts, which was so thoughtful. She even hand-made each boy's name on the gift! Had to be the cutest gift wrap ever! Noah was thrilled to have visitors. Mommy hasn't been too stimulating lately! Thanks girls!

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

I decided since our life is plenty of chaos already, why not add more to it & get out our Christmas decorations? I seriously have a LOT of Christmas decorations. I believe that last year I had at least 20 trees, one of which was 12 ft tall. My decorating is by no means all done, but I have to say, it's the most efficient I've been in getting it set up in this small amount of time. I started taking pictures of how I had stuff arranged before I took it down, which ended up saving me a lot of time! Brilliant!

Michael came home from Lowes with an electric train to go around the tree. It sounded good in theory. In actuality, it's VERY loud & it blows real smoke...which, after running for about 3 minutes, is not so pleasant. But Noah loved it, of course, so that was our nightly entertainment! Poor Jackson just has to endure so much! He was a sport and slept through most of it, and didn't fuss a bit when he was awake. He's such a good baby. And precious as the day is long. This is going to be a great Christmas.

Michael & Noah

I just caught a glimpse of Michael & Noah going for a walk around the lake as I looked through the living room window. Having a new baby in the home has been quite a transition, especially for Noah. I've been very touched by the way Michael has been extra sensitive to Noah's feelings. He has come home with special gifts for Noah and has spent a lot of extra time with him to try to reassure our precious Noah that he is, and always has been loved. What a good Daddy.

Picture Day for Jackson

Rose Bailey, my friend & favorite photographer, came out to our home today to take a few pictures of Jackson at 9 days old. Noah's 1st professional pictures were taken at 9 days old, as well. But, technically, Jackson had his 1st professional picture taken the day he was born, as Rose was there for the birth and is working on a birth documentary of our special delivery. I took a couple of pictures just with my plain camera to show a preview. I can't wait to see how beautiful Rose's edited pics will be. Ahhhh, sweet baby bliss.
