Dr. Karyn Purvis, famous author, researcher, teacher, and child advocate...blessed us in Tyler with a training for the whole community.  She is amazing...the closest person I've ever met that meets criteria for sainthood! I felt so honored to share lunch with her and look forward to continuing to spread her message. What a special day!

Noah's 6th Birthday Lego Party Invitations

I absolutely fell in love with Noah's Lego invitations. But I put a little twist on them. I found them invitation at Anders Ruff, but they used real Legos in the invitation. I thought that 6 or 7 real Legos would look cute, but that kids couldn't do much with them. Then I found these Lego candies! And I thought, "jackpot!" That's perfect! The candies even interlock and build. What kid wouldn't be happy getting candy IN their invitation to the party, right?!?  So I printed it all up, got the baggies, hot glued until I couldn't hot glue anymore, and voila! We have invitations!
I received so many messages from parents telling me how much their kids enjoyed the invitation. Yay!

Noah, I adore you

I had a terrible headache today, which is weird, because I rarely get headaches. Sweet, sweet Noah...made a cutout of himself and gave it to me,"Here, Mommy. You can carry me with you now to feel better." Can you say steal my heart?! It gets better---He then added ears, "to make it look more like me." What a special, compassionate, & thoughtful son! I love you, Noah!

Happy Birthday Paw Paw!

Paw Paw came to our house for his birthday celebration.  We had cake, Mexican food, and then Paw Paw and Noah played baseball in the front yard.  There's something so special about watching the generations together...Michael's dad, Michael, and my boys...precious.

72 degrees in January= perfect outdoor day for my boys! We went to Sonic, the park, a nature walk, & ended at the candy store. Jax LOVES "red Coke."

Noah...starting the New Year off !

My Noah...
This kid is an ORIGINAL! And I LOVE that about him! Here he is on New Year's Day...in his underwear, black shoes, party hat and noisemaker, helping put away a Christmas ornament. You just GOTTA love this kid!
