Playing in the leaves

It was a beautiful fall day here in East Texas, and the leaves were abundant!! The boys helped Daddy rake up leaves, and then made piles of leaves for play.  Jax also helped Daddy mow some leaves in the yard, because it was looking like a mess! Priceless moments. I made Noah a "5" in leaves, and I also made Jax a "3," but Jax refused to have his picture taken with his leaf pile. Such is the life of a toddler! Mama tried.

Thanksgiving 2013 with Grammie, Paw Paw, & The Carliles

Thanksgiving 2013~
We actually celebrated Thanksgiving the day after Thanksgiving this year in order to have our big meal with the Carliles and Paw Paw.  It turned out just lovely.  Michael's mom kept saying that I was very calm, which I was for some weird reason. Cooking a big meal for folks isn't my gig! Michael's mom did most of the cooking, although I still made fruit salad, cookies, mashed potatoes, and my mom's recipe for stuffing...which made if feel like Thanksgiving to me.  I had coloring sheets printed up for the kiddos and they had a nice little time coloring and feasting.  It was just a nice time. Family and good food.  Happy Thanksgiving!

THanksgiving Eve fun

Grammie & the Carliles joined us for Thanksgiving night and the boys had SO much fun playing with Alice and Aunt Rebekah.  The boys would run to Rebekah and she'd catch them and fall over. She burned some serious calories! Their faces are just priceless! Then I iced cookies and we did a little late-night cooking. Great night!

Jax in the fall leaves- age 3!

It was a beautiful fall day for raking leaves.  I made a "3' out of leaves, and tried to get Jackson to take a picture next to the leaves, but he was fast!! So, the pictures aren't the clearest, but Mama tried! I think it is still cute!

Thanksgiving Feast 2013

Thanksgiving Feast at Oak Hill Montessori School with the boys.
Noah was so cute dressed up as a little Indian. And Jax, well, Jax always cries when I come to his parties, so I just took him home with me after the feast.  The boys were so happy to have their whole family present for their big day! I am blessed.
