Bath fun

I never tire of watching the boys splish-splash in the bubbles at bath time! Their ivory skin is so beautiful...especially in the bubbles!

Happy 5th Birthday Sawyer & Kamryn

Noah & I put on our super capes & had a fun time at his best friends' birthday party. Noah is best friends with Sawyer, another cute red head! And Kamryn is Sawyer's twin sister & also joins us for play.  I made Super S & K cookies and they were a big hit! Sawyer's mom told me, "Sawyer liked your cookies so much...he didn't even eat any of his birthday cake!" That's my mom's recipe, not my baking skills!

Noah's 1st Dentist Appointment

 

Noah's 1st Dentist Appointment!
Like his Mama, Noah has a healthy fear of the dentist.  He has been dreading his first dental appointment for some time. (And I don't blame him! I cannot stand going either!) But I'm happy to report that he did BETTER than AWESOME at his 1st visit! The dentist office was nothing like the one I went to when I was a kid. There was a rocket ship inside, video games, fish, movies...the whole thing. I had to do a double-take and make sure I wasn't at Chuck E. Cheese instead of the dentist! He got his 1st x-rays and thought that the pump-it-up seat was pretty cool. Who smiles for x-rays? My little enthusiastic, life-loving, copper-headed 5-year-old! Jax, who tagged along, went into near hysterics when he saw the x-ray machine and tools. We might have to do sedation dentistry for him! Noah had no cavities and even has a couple of loose teeth! WHAT?!? Mommy is so NOT ready for that!
Good job, Noah! You never cease to amaze me!

The smiles of my life

While taking a bath tonight, I started pouring pitchers of water on the boys playing "waterfall." Just look at these smiles. There is nothing more wonderful than listening to the laughter & seeing the smiles of my boys. Mommy loves you!

Perot Science Museum

Since we're members at the Discovery Science Museum, we automatically get free admission to several museums, including the fancy new Perot Science Museum.  The boys got to see real dinosaur bones. T-Rex of course was a hit! The place was packed but the boys had a great time & it was a cool way to spend a hot Saturday!

Father's Day 2013-
The boys made Daddy a painted plate with their handprints that said, "Best Dad Hands Down," and each made him some homemade gifts.  Paw Paw & Sarah came by for an afternoon swim, too. It is always special to see all the boys playing together.

I took the boys to the spray ground for some Saturday morning fun.
They were so cute!
It was all I could do to not jump in the fun with them! Then they changed & had some playground fun.
